Personal shopper Toronto: 8 shops that book a stylist

Eight Toronto shops publish a personal shopping or styling appointment on their own site. Three of them use the word complimentary. Every address, price and opening time below was read on those sites on 20 September 2026.

The shops that call it free

TNT (The New Trend). 87 Avenue Road, with two more Toronto shops at 390 to 394 Eglinton Avenue West and 2901 Bayview Avenue, unit C17. The home page reads "Complimentary Access to Trusted Stylists".

To book, email tnt@tntthenewtrend.com and say whether you want the session in store or by video. Avenue Road opens 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday and noon to 5pm Sunday.

SMYTHE. 1116 Yonge Street, in Summerhill. Its site says "Complimentary appointments are available at all SMYTHE store locations", booked through smythe.endear.events.

Open 10am to 6pm Monday to Saturday, 10am to 7pm on Thursday and noon to 5pm Sunday.

Sydney's. 682 Queen Street West, phone 416 603 3369. The booking page says "Book your complimentary consultation appointment".

Bespoke suiting, alterations and wedding styling each get a page of their own. Open noon to 6pm seven days.

Private sessions and a rack sent home

WDLT117. 7 St Thomas Street, unit 101, per the shoptoronto directory row checked 27 August 2026. Its services page lists private appointments, one to one styling held only when the shop is shut to the public.

Basic alterations come with a regular price garment, and WDLT117 To Go sends up to 6 pieces home to try. The contact form carries a menu line reading "Book a personal shopping appointment".

Surmesur. 33 Yonge Street, unit 106, with the door on Scott Street facing Berczy Park. Booking is recommended, by phone on 416 214 2840 or through the site.

Open 11am to 7pm Tuesday to Friday and 10am to 5pm Saturday, shut Sunday and Monday.

Menswear, by appointment

Stephan Caras. 744 Queen Street East, phone 416 703 6929. The showroom takes clients Tuesday to Saturday by appointment and shuts Sunday and Monday.

No price appears anywhere on the site.

Fari Hara. 2780 Yonge Street, phone 416 270 1320. Booking runs through the appointments page on its own site.

A custom suit takes 4 to 6 weeks. Rushing one costs an added fee the site does not name.

Garrison Bespoke. 26 Wellington Street East, unit 101, one block east of Yonge. The only booking route on the site is a button marked BOOK AN APPOINTMENT.

It prints no hours and no starting price.

Three shops publish the word complimentary. Not one of the eight publishes an hourly rate.

What the alterations cost

Over the Rainbow, 55 Bloor Street West, suite 123, prints a tailor shop price list. A regular hem is $18, keeping the original hem is $22, and a waist, a leg taper or a zipper is $25 each.

The work covers jeans bought from Over the Rainbow and nothing else. A bottom hem is free with a regular price jean. For the shops that take in a jacket, read the Toronto designer alterations note.

Before you book

Garrison Bespoke and Fari Hara publish no hours at all, so phone before you travel. The Yorkville shopping list gives the street numbers around TNT, and the Queen West street list covers Sydney's block.

How much does a personal shopper in Toronto cost?

Nothing at TNT, SMYTHE and Sydney's, which all print the word complimentary. None of the eight publishes an hourly rate or a session fee. Fari Hara charges extra to rush a suit and does not say how much.

Do you need an appointment for personal shopping in Toronto?

Stephan Caras takes clients by appointment only, Tuesday to Saturday. WDLT117 runs its private sessions after the shop has shut for the day. TNT, SMYTHE, Sydney's and Surmesur keep normal opening hours and book on request.
