Toronto's PATH holds 1,200 restaurants, shops and services. They fill 3.7 million square feet under more than 75 downtown buildings. Every count in this note comes from the City of Toronto's PATH page, read 20 September 2026.

The City's page sets no opening hours at all. Each segment belongs to the owner of the building above it, and about 35 corporations are involved.

What the City counts

Retail down there turns over roughly $1.7 billion a year and holds an estimated 4,600 jobs. You can walk from the waterfront to Downtown Yonge, and from the Entertainment District to Yonge Street.

Where the shops are

Union Station. 65 Front Street West, open daily 5:30am to 12:45am per its own site. Its eat and shop page names Sephora, The Detox Market, LCBO, MINISO, Cocktail Emporium and Craigs Cookies.

Royal Bank Plaza. 200 Bay Street, with direct access to the PATH per the building's site. Shoppers Drug Mart, INS Market, Flight Centre, QB House and Squint Eyewear are listed, and Squint's own site confirms that boutique.

Scotia Plaza. 40 King Street West, joined to King station and the PATH per its own page. Winners trades on the concourse floor, Moores and Maverick Studio for Men on the ground floor.

CF Toronto Eaton Centre. The City names it among the PATH's connections. Its own page gave 10am to 9pm Monday to Saturday and 11am to 7pm Sunday, read 20 September 2026.

The City sets no PATH hours. About 35 owners set them, building by building.

How long is the PATH in Toronto?

More than 30 kilometres, per the City of Toronto, read 20 September 2026. The Financial District BIA prints 30 km on its own page, along with a count of more than 70 office buildings.

What are the PATH's hours?

The City's PATH page gives none. Union Station's site says open daily 5:30am to 12:45am, and CF Toronto Eaton Centre posts 11am to 7pm on Sunday. Check the building you want, because about 35 owners each set their own.

Which subway stations connect to the PATH?

Six, says the City, which names none of them. The TTC's station pages name the PATH at five: Union, St Andrew, King, Queen and TMU. Addresses and exits for all five sit in the Toronto subway shopping note.

The first tunnel opened in 1900, when the T Eaton Co. joined its store at 178 Yonge Street to its bargain annex. By 1917 there were five.
